Veronica McMillion

Hello! I am Veronica, a Clinical Intern committed to providing a safe and supportive space for people seeking mental health care. My approach to counseling is rooted in empathy, active listening, and a client-centered perspective. I tailor my interventions to meet the specific needs and goals of each unique individual.

I am currently pursuing my master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at DePaul University, where I have gained a strong foundation in various therapeutic modalities. I use evidenced-based therapeutic approaches such as Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help people overcome the challenges of OCD, anxiety, and depression, and empower them on a journey toward emotional well-being.

Using ERP, I assist clients in confronting their fears and obsessions in a supportive environment, gradually reducing the power of compulsive behaviors. I also incorporate CBT techniques to challenge and reframe negative thought patterns that contribute to anxiety and depressive symptoms.

I am dedicated to creating a warm and non-judgmental environment where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings, build resilience, and develop effective coping strategies. If you or someone you know is seeking compassionate and effective support for OCD, anxiety, depression, and/or relationship challenges, please reach out!
