Young adult issues. We can help you find your way.

For some people, young adulthood (ages 18-29) is a time fraught with uncertainty, indecisiveness, and anxiety. It is a unique period of your life where issues surrounding establishing a sense of identity and learning how to navigate your own wants and needs as well as the expectations of others can come to the forefront. Practical issues such as school performance, entering the workforce, and figuring out “what to do with your life” can become stressful and overwhelming. Social and familial stressors can further compound doubt, confusion, and discontentment.

If this sounds like you, the good news is that you’re not alone. It is estimated that almost 80% of young adults (or “emerging adults”) experience symptoms of anxiety and depression, all of which can be treated effectively through counseling. It is possible to feel better equipped to manage the different responsibilities that suddenly pop up when you become a young adult, and we can help. This transition, although overwhelming, can shift from frightening to exciting with the right tools and support in place.
